WTF: Snake spotted wearing a decapitated fish head

Today in absolutely horrifying things found in nature: a snake slithering around in a shallow body of water wearing a huge fish head.

The clip, which was submitted to the appropriate subreddit r/WTF on Tuesday, was a hit on the notoriously deranged forum. If you can shock r/WTF, you’ve got some seriously messed up content there.

It’s unclear where the clip originated, but the snake masquerading as a fish may not be as sinister as it looks. Herpetologist Emily Taylor, director of the Physiological Ecology of Reptiles Lab at Cal Poly, tells Inverse that the snake likely did not behead the fish or eat its body before putting on its head because snakes eat their meals whole, like true monsters.

“Sometimes fish can’t judge appropriate meal size with their eyes, and will try to eat something way too big before realizing that it just won’t happen,”Taylor told Inverse.

I don’t care what the experts say, this is still terrifying.

Scary Tornado Tears A Man’s Garage Down Seconds After He Reverses Out Of It. ⁰

“I’ll just pull back into the garage…Oh, never mind!” is probably what went through this Russian man’s mind a few seconds after he had reversed out of his garage only to be greeted by a massive tornado. The tornado was so powerful, it tore down his garage in a matter of seconds.

The whole thing was captured on his dashboard camera, and it’s crazy just how terrifying the footage is. Seriously. My pulse quickened just watching the video.
